Time to Use Your Test Strips!
This water kit is designed to quickly visualize the differing levels and chemical properties of what can be found in different sources of water.

What’s In Your Water?
We use basic science to help students “see the invisible” - understand the different chemical properties of water to understand what’s in this colorless liquid beyond what we can see with our physical eyes.
When we work in the lab, we use special equipment. But to get an instant result, you can use these test strips!
DIRECTIONS:
Remove one strip from a sealable bag and immediately seal the bag tightly.
Immerse the reagent (color blocks) area of the strip in the water sample for 2 seconds and take out immediately. Lay the strip down on a clean paper towel to absorb any excess water.
Hold the strip horizontally for about 30 seconds to allow the reagents to complete their reaction.
Now hold the strip vertically against the chart below and compare results to see levels of contaminants found in each water sample. *Be sure to real the results within 30 seconds in good light for the most accurate results.
